An experienced Chief Operating Officer Is needed to oversee all operational aspects of the mining activities and play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, optimizing productivity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence across the mining operations.

Qualifications	BSc/BA in business administration, mining engineering, metallurgy, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
Software	Microsoft Package
Knowledge Of	Regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations relevant to mining operations
Skills To	Exceptional track record of leadership
Ability To	Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Other Requirements	Proven track record of senior leadership experience in mining operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.

Requirements

Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the company's mission, vision, and objectives.
Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, setting clear goals and objectives to drive performance and continuous improvement.
Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
Manage relationships with partners/vendors
