Job Presentation

To oversee the company's financial operations and ensure its financial success and will work closely with the executive team. At least 8 years of work experience in a finance or accounting role, with a minimum of 3 years in financial services. Good understanding of fintech and digital payments systems and experience having worked in a Pan African context will be an added advantage.

Knowledge Of	Accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Tax laws and regulations
Skills To	Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability To	Financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting. Work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Identify and resolve financial issues
Other Requirements	Knowledge of the payments industry and its unique financial considerations. Experience in working with multi-functional teams operating in various locations

Requirements

Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed
Responsible for book-keeping of the company
Ensuring the company's financial statements are accurate and comply with accounting principles and regulations
Managing the company's financial resources, including cash flow and budgets
Developing and implementing risk management strategies to protect the company's financial assets
Analyzing financial data and providing strategic recommendations to improve the company's financial performance
Managing relationships with financial institutions and stakeholders, including investors and creditors
Responsible for the accounting and taxation functions
File timely returns with Bank of Zambia
Ensuring the company's financial operations comply with regulatory requirements.
Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure that financial information is accurate and accessible to support decision-making.
Providing support to related companies as and when required

Salary

Between 30,000 and 40,000 ZMK (ZMW)
