 Job Title: Environmental Officer

 Location: Sinazongwe District, Zambia

Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards set by the Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) and other relevant authorities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor environmental management plans and policies.
• Monitor and report on environmental performance, recommending and implementing strategies for improvement.
•  Collaborate closely with internal departments to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on environmental compliance and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

•  Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address environmental issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
