The Church Newspaper - Lusaka

The Church is the nation's only and most comprehensive Christian newspaper and was launched in November 2012. The Church was incorporated with the vision of delivering up-to-date news, information, and commentaries relevant to Christians across denominational lines. It is however deliberately designed in such a way that it is ‘user friendly’ even to non-Christians.
The Church is published by Risper Media, a newspaper publishing and advertising firm registered in accordance with the Companies Act, Cap.389 of the Laws of Zambia.
The Church newspaper is quickly growing to become a leading Christian news publication. It’s currently a weekly newspaper and its print run stands at 3000 copies per edition and is distributed in Lusaka and along the line of rail.

As a pan-denominational Christian media source, The Church views all Christ-centered denominations as equal constituents of the body of Christ and does not promote or demote any Christ-centered denomination and/or congregation.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe...
(i) In the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct...
(ii) One God , eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...
(iii) Our Lord Jesus Christ , God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His Personal return in power and glory...
(iii) The Salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit...
(iv) The Holy Spirit , by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ...
(v)The Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ...
(vi)The Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
