Chobe Camping is an unforgettable experience inside the Chobe National park. There are public and tour operator campsites located inside the Chobe. Any traveller or visitor is allowed to make use of the public campgrounds. These are limited and very popular. We do advise that you book well in advance. The Tour operator campsites are within the bush and perfect for a mobile safari.
Travellers with no 4x4 experience can best partake in a guided mobile safari. Local guides and local companies have excellent knowledge of the wildlife and Chobe park. When you join a local safari company, you will most likely be staying in a wild bush camp. The public centre offers showers and toilets, and water. It is, however, still recommended to carry your water, firewood and meals.
