 Deciding whether applications for insurance should be accepted.
 Underwriting standard and non-standard commercial insurance products.
 Evaluating financial records, statements and historical trends.
 Prospecting for new business opportunities in the market.
 Communicating with and reporting to insurers on a regular basis.

• Establish and maintain active relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Understand clients’ business and risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through provision of ongoing service
• Respond quickly and accurately to new business introductions, preparing quotations and presenting proposals to prospective and existing clients.
• Developing and maintaining client data base
• Actively identify opportunities to work with colleagues across the business and capitalize on account penetration and cross selling

Manage, prepare and assess claims
Ensure claims are settled in accordance with policy and company guidelines
Promptly advise clients of decisions regarding claims
Deny claims where applicable
Liaise with repairers or suppliers when needed
Apply creative problem-solving to selected claims, while adhering to policy definitions.
Develop and maintain relationships with range of stakeholders
Handle claims electronically on in-house data management system
Thorough documentation and general office administration

Delivering on sales targets on every product
• Focusing on promotion and management of approved insurance products with regard to sales, service and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Understanding and providing product knowledge, training and guidance to sales team
• Briefing key stakeholders on product regular feedback to the country the Underwriting Manager.
• Conducting annual Customer Needs Survey and Utilization and provide Insurance competitor analysis
• Maintaining excellent communication to support productive external and internal relationships and the resolution of issues.
• Building a strong network to support the sharing of best practice with the underwriting,Sales and Marketing teams in order to enhance cross-functional cooperation and achieve sales targets.
• Providing analysis of monthly statistics to enable the product performance measurement.
• Ensuring compliance to local legal and regulatory requirements, audits and any other credit or governance directives.
• Complying with all the company’s policies and procedures.
