Electrician and heavy equipment operator (rigid and Articulated dump truck)/ plant operator

A field operator in charge of all the operations in the plant. This involves the following
*monitoring the operations of all the equipments and machines including the larox press Filters, conveyers belts, pumps, pneumatic valves, agitators, compressors and clarifiers.
*carry out inspections and reporting the abnormalities for maintenance and repair.
*making sure all the equipments and machines are working to the required standard to meet production targets and many more
* Operating of a 36t overhead crane to charge the bins with materials for smelting.
* Operating a dump truck to transport copper concentrate from one site to the other.
*General house keeping and plant inspection.
*Helping with plant shutdown, isolations and start ups.

I save and delivered my role as Artisan and apprentice Electrician under maintenance section. I was specialized in the following
* maintenance on plant area lights and electrical equipment
* motor inspection and carry out daily and weekly PM.
*use of electric hand tools and equipment competently eg multimeters, insulation resistance tester etc.
*maintenance of transformers and generators on standby.
*circuit wiring and making modifications to meet the requirements and many more.
* Carrying out inspection, repairing and tagging of electrical portables.
Installation of VSD's, SIMOCODES motors and other electrical equipments.
* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
