     Prepare purchase requisition.
     Receiving batteries and mining spares from international supplies.
     Advise plant manager on stocks that need deterioration detection

     Ensure all inventory stock management systems are maintained accurately, within the agreed parameters and in a timely manner.

     Planning and co-ordination amongst other department in connection with the purchase of stock.
     Reconciling stocks through day to day maintenance of stock record cards.

    Replenishment and Receiving Officer
     Responsible of all receipts and replenishment/expediting on orders for all Mechanical, Electrical, Fuel, Lubricants, Paper Bags and Equipment spares for the plant
     Running Replenishment Reports to determine which items have reached ROP
     Evaluating and reviews regularly with Maintenance ROP, EOQ, Stock Category
     Placing orders for items on ROP and ensures all purchase requests from end users are fully verified physically for availability before placing orders
     Communicating monthly to end users, all receipts (spares & raw materials) with their respective quantities and bin locations.
     Keeping end users updated daily on all received items
     Carrying out cycle counts as may be required
     Receiving stock items physically and in the system within 48 hours and also delivers inspection reports to accounts within 48hours from inspection.
     Checking that the goods received are not damaged and conforms to the specification on the order
     Following up on orders in the purchasing approval process to ensure all orders are issued within the SLA
     Following up with procurement to ensure orders for all items received on emergency orders are processed without delay
     Binning all items received and updates the system with bin locations and correct quantities within 48hrs from inspection.
     Determining and resolves issues with suppliers that might be threatening on time delivery of items
     Making suggestions on how the system can be enhanced to improve supplier performance
     Working with procurement to evaluate supplier performance so that poor performers are not considered for future contracts
     Evaluating items descriptions and specifications to ensure the supplier delivers the correct items.
     Tracking all orders to ensure timely delivery.
     Ensuring that for orders greater than EOQ there should be approved justification from end users to explain the abnormal requirement
     Maintaining JDE/Maximo by ensuring that it is always up to date for all users
     Checking for Repairable items before placing orders.
     Checking for previous orders before placing an order to prevent duplication of orders.
     Aiming to have all local orders completed within 10 days of supplier receiving order.
     Maintaining the Lafarge housekeeping and safety standards.
     Ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimum levels by ordering and expediting all spares without the over or under stocking of the number of items kept in stock.
