BUDGET STORES LIMITED, (hereinafter referred to as the Company)
was registered on April 2004, with headquarters in Lusaka, the capital city of
Zambia. The company acquired the only one investment license issued by Zambia
government in October in the same year, 2004 which became the largest trade
project invested by Chinese in Zambia. By the year 2014 the company established
20 retails spun across the length and breadth of Zambia, becoming the second
largest Non-food Chain enterprise in Zambia.

With the aim of, “providing high quality goods and services at best price possible,

meeting the requirement of continuously improving the customers’ high level living
standards of local residents. Budget Stores remains committed to supplying
competitively priced and high quality household appliances, furniture, kitchenware,
electronics, clothes, shoes, toys, hardware and related accessories.

With the operation principle“building up reputation through quality, and winning
customers through price”the company guarantees that these are optimally achieved
through prudent management of business. We only stock goods that meet the company’s
stringent quality standards. Whilst we import part of our product range, we also build up
business relationships with reputable local suppliers, so as to support the development of
local enterprises, to reduce the cost and achieve mutual benefit for both the company
and the local suppliers.

To benefit from diverse experiences and exposure, the company is run by a competent
management team comprised of Chinese and Zambian nationals, integrating the two
countries rich cultures. The company employs around 20 Chinese and close to 300
Zambian nationals. The company has continued to positively contribute to government’s
quest to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the country.
