Our Client a Retail Group seeks an Accountant in possession of a Bachelor of Accounting degree/Full ACCA/ZICA/CIMA and should be a member of ZICA. Experience in accounting in retail/FMCG will be an added advantage, and should have a minimum of 4 years work experience with a background in Audit.

Requirements
  • External Audit - ensure a smooth and timely statutory audit by providing all necessary information/documents
  • Internal Audit - ensure a smooth and timely internal audit by providing all necessary information/documents
  • Statutory Obligations (PAYE, WHT, VAT, NAPSA, NHIMA) - Ensure timely preparation of the return and payment/remittance
  • Accounts Payable (Local Trade and Non Trade) & Bank Reconciliations
  • Month end Journals - Accurate preparation and capture of month end journals (In-country Payment & Transfers)
  • Store Audits (Internal Controls) - ensures all controls affecting various areas assigned are adhered to.
