Payables Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities;
 Raising system supplier invoices & system payments.
 Generating maintenance reports
 Management of all vendor/Payables accounts
 To ensure that all statutory payments are made on time
 Accruals/prepayment accounting & reconciliation
 Generating energy reports and reconciliation (Electricity & fuel)
 Accounting & reconciliation of intercompany transactions
 Tax accounting (Withholding tax & VAT)
 Management of lease rentals
 Attending to Internal & external audit queries
 Monthly general ledger reconciliation

Duties & Responsibilities
 Sales & cost accounting (brewery & milling)
 Receivables & Payables management (brewery & milling)
 Preparation of the company’s profit and loss statement (brewery only)
 Bank reconciliation & petty cash management (milling & brewery)
 NAPSA & Workers compensation computations and remittance (milling & brewery)
 Accounting for PAYE, input and output VAT and making online returns (brewery only)
 Sales & expenditure budgeting and making cash flow reports (brewery only)
 Weekly wages & monthly payroll preparation (Milling & Brewery using DOVE payroll system)
 Raising and issuing of cheques
 Accounting and reconciliation of intercompany transactions (Brewery & Milling)
 Internal audit and compliance management
